Blood Diamonds

Lemme start off by sayin this photo ain't mine.. I took it from the net.. It's a french ad i think.. but i posted it to reflect what im about to tell you...



Now I know many of you won't take much notice of what I'm about to say.. But ima say it anyway..

Behind that beautiful sparkling glowing stone, a story of sadness and pain resides.. Many of us are ignorant about the suffering that goes on for diamonds.. and at the same time, many of us just choose to ignore..

I'm not here to preach or judge.. i'm only typing this to make some of you aware of the selfishness of humans...


The truth of the matter is, "Diamonds have been to Africa what cocaine has been to Latin America"

Now I ask u, is that small stone u wear really worth it or are u willing to take a stand by completely steering away from it? Could u really wear a diamond knowing that blood has been shed, hands, arms cut off, just so u can feel good about urself?

As lovely as they are, i know i couldnt...
